Rhiwbina 6 -0 Pentwyn Dynamos
The performance was not as bad as the result suggests - Similarly to last week we came up against one of the 'big boys' at the top of their game, meanwhile we were still in shock from last week's heavy defeat.
We started well and should have been 1 up in the first minute but for a great save from their keeper.
Rhiwbina were excellent and, like St Albans last week, were hungrier than us and quickly took charge of the game. 3 Nil down at half time I could see the boys thinking of the previous week and how their confidence has been dented, but they went back out and put up a fight - but ultimately were beaten by the better team on the day.
We will bounce back from this - the fixtures have been unkind to us this month - we are still a good side and as soon as the boys remember that and resume playing with confidence, the past 2 results will be a distant memory.

St Albans 6 - 0 Pentwyn Dynamos
A bad day all round with half the team turning up late, the referee crying off at the last minute - leaving me to officiate.
A poor performance saw us 2 nil down inside the first 20 mins and 3 nil down by half time. We didnt get started until my half time rollocking and as we were so far behind, the more we pushed forward the more gaps we left at the back.
St Albans were absolutely fantastic and deserved their thumping victory - they were first to every ball, created plenty of chances and scored most of them. Our boys need to look at how teams such as this approach these 'big' games and learn - quickly.
This result doesnt make us a bad team overnight - heads up boys, learn from this and come back stronger.
